Mark de Kiewiet, Enterprise Excellence Educator, has been a continuous improvement practitioner since 1984, and has since incorporated Theory of Constraints (TOC), Six Sigma, Lean Sigma and Theory of Constraints Lean Six Sigma (TLS). He has the ability to communicate and implement the methodologies to a variety of audiences.
He has worked around the world in many industries, including banking, medical, chemical processing, food processing, research and development, mining, refining, and manufacturing of all types including automotive.
Mark is certified with Shell Oil for delivery and mentoring of their programs for Lean–for-Leadership and Lean-for-Practitioners. Some of the positions Mark has held in the Corporate world include; Operations Manager Chemical and Alumina Refining, Technical Manager, Director of Technical Excellence, Systems Engineering and Product Manager.
He is a professional member and past president of several professional institutions and civic organizations. Mark is professionally registered in the United Kingdom and South Africa, and holds the degrees of MSc Technical Management, Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering, and BSc Metallurgical Engineering. He is certified in Theory of Constraints, Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management, Belbin and Team Synergy. He teaches and mentors young leaders in his community. Mark and his family live in San Antonio, Texas, and attend the Trinity Lutheran Church.
